Antique Insulator Sconce Light – choose clear or green insulator glass and choose your wall plate finish.
These sconce lights are great for any room in your home, family room, kitchen, bathroom or use as a nightlight in your bedroom.
Insulators: These sconces are made with insulators that are very old and sometimes have small imperfections, I think that’s what makes these pendants so unique and appealing. I always try and use the best possible insulators but there could always be some very minor chips in the glass, I will never use one with large imperfections though.
Socket and Bulb: I use a candelabra socket rated for up to a 75 watt bulb. You will receive a 25 watt bulb which is a good amount of light especially if multiple lights are used.
Backing: You can choose from a wood or metal wall plate. I can paint either one in just about any color, I have silver, copper, black and dark bronze available for the metal back at this time. I can also stain the wood piece or leave it raw. Message me your preference.
Metal arm: I can paint the metal arm any color you would like. I use a hammered paint that I think looks great on these lights. The options I currently have available are listed when purchasing. If you would like a different color, choose “other” and message me your request.
Ad-on’s: You can add a pull chain to the sconce for an additional $10 each light, or add a plug for an additional $5 per light.
Please ask about ANY customization to these lights. I have several different types of wood, cedar, pine and I can get specialty woods for an additional cost. I can also subsitute the pull chain for a push button switch or a turn-knob type switch.
Some customization requests may have additional fees. Please ask questions before purchasing.
These lights are made with high quality parts and will look great in any home or business. Great for anyone who is into vintage pieces, railroad related items or just a great lighting piece for the home or business.
Thanks for looking!
*do not use bulbs greater than 40 watts in an insulator, they will overheat and shatter.
